Visitors of TECHNO MUEBLE was highly interested in Portakal products and company’s relation with Mexican carpenters and importers is increasing day by day.
Portakal also aims to increase its effect in Europe. Portakal also was one of the exhibitor of The W EXHIBITION AND ELEMENTS SHOW 2018 which was held in Birmingham, United Kingdom. In 2018, Portakal also started to be one of the important edge banding supplier of British Furniture Industry with the help of local partners. In 2018, Portakal has already started to cooperate with major edge banding distributers of British Market. Moreover, the company aims to keep hold of 20 per cent of market share in United Kingdom. With these exciting news, exhibition was very succesfull according to export team of Portakal.

This year, marble, stone designs has started to be fashion in Turkish Furniture Market as well as global market, and company’s those designs from KASTAMONU, STARWOOD, YILDIZ ENTEGRE, AGT collections catched visitor’s attention during fair. Intermob exhibition not only plays significant role for Turkish Market but also important for global visitors from Africa to Russia, from Balkans to Latin America, from Turkic Republics to Middle East. No need to argue that many of global companies look forward to developments in Turkish Market. For example, In 2018, On the contrary last years, there were a lot of visitors from South America and Africa. Portakal had a chance to meet those global visitors in Intermob and had gained many relations all around the world.
Portakal also started to increase its market share in Abs, and started to be active in Italy market in 2018. Now, company cooperates 5 different companies and Italy will play very critical role for company’s 2019 targets. As eveyone agreed SICAM is one of the important exhibition for global furniture market since fashion of furniture is mainly Italian determined. In SICAM fair, Portakal had very nice booth and many nice designs from marble and stone designs to super matt Fenix colours. In SICAM, company has touched visitors from all around the world and already started to cooperation with some visitors from Russia, Costa Rica and Slovenia.
Lastly, Portakal also participated WOODSHOW which was held on December in Cairo, Egypt. Portakal also aims to increase its operation in Africa and Middle East Market. Company participated this fair for the first time. In WOODSHOW, many of visitors were from Egypt Furnite Sector. Portakal will speed up its marketing activities in that country and aims to be an important business partner of local furniture producers.
